Chief Minister Leadership in Education and Development Fellowship (CMLEAD)

 

The Chief Minister Leadership in Education and Development (CMLEAD) Fellowship launched by
Samagra Shiksha Meghalaya in collaboration with Mantra4Change, Childaid Network and implemented
by Aide et Action, aims to strengthen foundational learning, classroom practices and education system
capacity across 12 districts of Meghalaya through an integrated and collaborative approach.


The initiative aims at:

  • Improving classroom engagement and strengthening foundational literacy practices to support better learning outcomes across schools.
  • Enhancing students’ conceptual understanding, application of learning and classroom engagement, with a particular focus on Mathematics and Science at the middle school level.
  • Strengthening education stakeholders to effectively implement, review and scale innovative practices and approaches across the education system.
  • Bringing together classroom-level improvement and system-level leadership to create sustainable improvements in teaching and learning across Meghalaya
